In a similar vein, writer, podcaster, and all around cool geek chick Mur Lafferty has made a mantra out of the dictum that "It's okay to suck." It gets repeated pretty often on her podcast I Should Be Writing (which, by the way, is great listening). I guess the idea is that doing something and sucking at it is still better than doing nothing, because then you at least learn from your mistakes. I'm still working on trying to follow that bit of advice.

If you'd prefer to use a GUI, the Secrets prefPane is good for setting this and other hidden settings:

Catchy tune, isn't it? There's an interesting disconnect between the lyrics and the happy, bouncy music that I can't decide if I like or I'm just weirded out by. The vibrato was a little much for me, though; by about halfway through the song, I wanted to either stomp on whatever digital processor they were using to make it or rush the singer to the hospital to be treated for extreme diaphragm spasms.

Still, catchy! I'll probably be humming it for the rest of the day now. Looking forward to more!

Well that is a fairly pleasant composition. I even enjoy the dark lyrics. You've got to do something with a dead body, why not make it interesting? I wouldn't mind going out pyrotechnical viking style. HEY KEEP POSTING THESE. Thank you.

Great write-up, I really like your definitions on the ratings. I found I rated songs too often based on my mood, and didn't agree with them later, so I buried my OCD and stopped rating songs altogether, but you've inspired me to pick it back up.
