Hey! I've seen you a couple times on Aardvark (I went to school with Apurva!) and I thought I'd check out your blog.

I am starting a Startup myself, have been working on it for the last year, so I'm definitely on the "Motivation Is Important" page too. I feel like I have a lot more questions about it than answers. But I'll check out the TAL episode...

FWIW, here's my delicious inspiration tag: http://delicious.com/erikp/inspiration

In a similar vein, writer, podcaster, and all around cool geek chick Mur Lafferty has made a mantra out of the dictum that "It's okay to suck." It gets repeated pretty often on her podcast I Should Be Writing (which, by the way, is great listening). I guess the idea is that doing something and sucking at it is still better than doing nothing, because then you at least learn from your mistakes. I'm still working on trying to follow that bit of advice.
